City Hall Owner's Representative– Public Private Development Solutions

Anderson School Site: McMenamins has purchased the property.

Bothell Crossroads Project

The contract was awarded to Guy F. Atkinson Construction.
The Bothell Crossroads Project proposes to shift the alignment of State Route (SR) 522 south of its existing alignment at Bothell Landing. The general aspects of this Work will involve construction of the new roadway including utilities, grading, hazardous soil remediation, retaining walls, lighting, traffic control elements, landscaping, wetland mitigation and erosion control as described in this Proposal. The project is also a GreenRoads ™ Pilot Project that will require documentation and assistance by the Contractor. The total estimated cost for this project is in the range of $17,750,000 to $18,750,000. Prevailing wage requirements are in effect.

Surplus of properties not needed for municipal purposes
The City of Bothell is seeking proposals from experienced developers, companies, teams or end users interested in purchasing and developing this 5.9 acre site, also known as Parcel "O." The city's downtown plan allows the site to be developed as: multi-family housing, lodging, office, civic or cultural uses, corner store retail, business and personal services or detached single family housing.

Community Energy Plan – Community Utility District

A submittal was received by McDonald Miller.

The City of Bothell wishes to examine alternative approaches to energy as part of the revitalization and redevelopment of its downtown. One alternative approach could include a Community Energy Plan. The City of Bothell is requesting proposals for the development and implementation of a Community Energy Plan.

Facilitating Non-Profit Entity for the City of Bothell City Hall / City Center Project

Selected: National Development Corporation 12/27/10

The City of Bothell is seeking a qualified Non-Profit entity to help facilitate on behalf of the City of Bothell a City Hall / City Center redevelopment project. The project is to be located on property currently owned by the City of Bothell. The City of Bothell is soliciting the services of a Non-Profit entity that will help expedite and facilitate a tax exempt lease / leaseback financing structure and transaction.

City Hall/City Center

Selected: Vulcan Real Estate, Miller Hull Partnership, GLY Construction

The City of Bothell is preparing to have developed on its behalf a City Hall / City Center facility. This Request for Qualifications begins a competitive process for a build-to-suit, lease-to-own development for the project. The city is seeking qualified development teams to plan, design, develop and construct the project.

Responses to the RFQ were due on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 by 2 pm.

The City of Bothell will accept Letters of Interest and Qualifications from developers and/or end users interested in purchasing two city-owned surplus real estate sites (1.8 ac and 1.65 ac) for downtown mixed use projects or other developments consistent with the City vision.
